The training facility helps with pre-apprenticeship training for construction workers. A construction training facility previously located in New Haven has moved to centrally-located Meriden. The center at 547 Center street run by The Construction Workforce Initiative 2 helps train people before construction apprenticeships, according to the Record-Journal.
