John Deere Electronic Solutions (JDES) is now offering OEMs a key piece of hybrid electric technology seen in John Deere wheel loaders.

In the John Deere Power Systems booth at Bauma, JDES displayed a PD400 modular inverter designed to provide space savings and flexibility to system designers with a solution for high-voltage/high-power hybrid electric vehicles. It is billed as an all-in-one system that eliminates the need for multiple interfaces, while also matching exact system requirements, simplifying work, and allowing system designers to optimize performance in off-highway and heavy-duty applications.
