KOMATSU 930E-5 HAUL TRUCK
The 930E-5 rigid frame truck hauls up to 320 tons of payload, and matches up with mining shovels in the 49-to-55-cubic-yard category. Powered by a Tier 4-Final Komatsu SSDA16V160-4 diesel that delivers 2,700 horsepower, the truck will consume up to 5 percent less fuel than its predecessor.
The DEF tank is designed to perform in freezing conditions, including a thaw capability to flow DEF within 70 minutes of starting the truck, using a thermostatically controlled engine coolant loop in DEF sump head and heated lines from the DEF tank to the SCR unit on the engine.
The truck is scheduled for availability in the second half of 2017.
