KOBELCO SK300LC-10 EXCAVATOR

The Generation 10 SK300LC excavator has an operating weight of 68,100 pounds and has a 252-horsepower Hino engine using SCR and DPF. Bucket digging force is 37,300 lb.-ft. The new hydraulic regeneration system reuses force generated by the boom in order to aid the arm. A higher boom foot cross-section, thicker arm-foot base plate, and stronger foot bases add reinforcement to the Gen 10 machine.

A new travel motor boosts traction force by 10 percent; independent travel allows it to move, lift, and swing simultaneously without losing power; and automatic swing priority delivers full swing power during combines operations without switching modes.

Remote diagnostic and preventive maintenance systems provide access to maintenance data. In the cab, pilot control operator force was reduced by 25 percent. The cab has been expanded, with wide access doors and windows on all sides.
