HYUNDAI SERIES 9 ROLLERS MAKE MAINTENANCE EASIER
Six rollers comprise the Series 9 lineup: four single-drum models and two tandem-drum models. The rollers have a wide-opening engine hood that provides 270-degree front and side access, a low-maintenance articulated joint with Teflon wear shells on all bearings to reduce greasing, and long-life vibration systems.
Horsepower ratings range from 84 to 140 in the single-drum models. A Perkins engine powers the single-drum HR70C-9, and Deutz engines are used in the HR110C-9, HR120C-9, and HR140C-9. The company’s HA control allows the rollers to automatically adapt to soil type and condition by adjusting tractive effort at the axle and drum. Dual frequencies and amplitudes provide two levels of vibration.
Single-drum operating weights range from 15,652 to 30,644 pounds, and drum widths range from 67 to 83 inches.
The HR25T-9 and HR30T-9 tandem-drum roller rollers have operating weights of 5,400 and 6,600 pounds, respectively, with drum widths of 40 and 50 inches, respectively. Both have Deutz D 2011 L2 I deisels rated at 30.2 horsepower.
The rollers carry a standard three-year, 3,000-hour warranty.
